Recipe 24: Brazilian Carrot Cake

Every family will love this carrot cake recipe.

Serving Size: 6

Cooking Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients:

2 cups flour

4 eggs

1 cup grated carrot

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 cup sugar

1 tablespoon cocoa powder (optional)

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350F (180C).

Beat the eggs with vegetable oil until creamy and light color. It may take about 5 minutes if you use an electric mixer.

Add in all the remaining ingredients and blend until just combined.

Pour the mixed batter into a large-sized greased baking pan and bake for about 40 minutes.

Remove from oven and let cool completely. Serve with chocolate sauce or Nutella.
